The 'Apple Skin' comes from bio waste left over from the food industry and combined to produce a fabric that has a higher biodegradabilty content than regular synthetic materials.
The upper is made in Italy and is breathable, durable and water resistant. It is a more sustainable upper that looks like, feels like and behaves like supple leather.
The lining of these shoes is a high-quality breathable material which is soft to touch, lightweight and hard wearing. It is made from corn (maize) and recycled bottles.
They also feature a padded, removable insole and padded collar and tongue add to comfort.
AND...They are ethically made in Portugal in a factory that abides by EU law to ensure fair pay and safe working conditions for the people who make them.
