The 'Laga' Trousers are made of 70% organic cotton. Slim leg, zip fly and button on the waistband. Elastic back waistband for flexible fit and side pockets for convenient and stylish comfort. A go-to ethical trouser for manu occasions.

Why choose Organic Cotton? Regular cotton is a very pesticide-intensive crop but organic fibres are grown without the use of harmful pesticides or genetically modified organisms so promote a healthier environment for wildlife, animals and people.

Social conditions are higher in organic textile factories so this cotton production can help farmers find a way out of poverty. Organic textiles don't contain allergenic, carcinogenic or toxic chemicals and as a result are a natural, renewable and biodegradable fibre. In addition, less water is the manufacturing process.

About the brand

Established in 2009 by Javier Goyeneche, ECOALF focuses on using recycled and reclaimed materials to create high-quality clothing, footwear, and accessories. They became the first fashion company from Spain to receive a certificate as a B Corporation. The B - CORP certificate identifies that the company meets the highest standard of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and the purpose the company was built for.

Upcycling the Oceans is the main project of the Ecoalf Foundation and undoubtedly the most ambitious one; an unprecedented worldwide initiative that fights against marine waste with the help of the fishing industry. A mission with international scope that was first implemented in Spain in 2015 and since then expanded to Thailand, Greece, Italy, France and Egypt. The Ecoalf Foundation is currently working on growing the project to other countries in the Mediterranean basin with the hope of retrieving and recycling more and more marine plastics and waste to help keep our oceans cleaner and the animals within it better protected.
