The colourful, super comfortable Carla Sandals are made of 59% recycled polyester. They contain Sorona® which is a bio-polymer derived from the residues of maize production, thereby cutting down on the use of fossil fuels. What’s more, it can be recycled along with polyester. They are a lightweight, breathable sandals with a supportive sole and velcro fastening for ease when getting on and off. They have no metal components, easy to wear and go with pretty much everything! A perfect Summer sandal!

Upcycling the Oceans is the main project of the Ecoalf Foundation and undoubtedly the most ambitious one; an unprecedented worldwide initiative that fights against marine waste with the help of the fishing industry. A mission with international scope that was first implemented in Spain in 2015 and since then expanded to Thailand, Greece, Italy, France and Egypt. The Ecoalf Foundation is currently working on growing the project to other countries in the Mediterranean basin with the hope of retrieving and recycling more and more marine plastics and waste to help keep our oceans cleaner and the animals within it better protected.
